Auangabad - Ellora

This morning, I slept late, so the only tour I could make was the Aurangabad City & Ellora Tour.
Around 9:30 the bus picked me up at the hotel and we drove off to Daulatabad. There is an old fort which climb step by step. Also it was fortified tremendously, it was once taken.

On the bus, I met two Swiss guys, two Italians and a Spanish couple. Besides the tour, we meet tonight for a drink and have the Ajanta Tour tomorrow.
The next stop on our current tour were the Ellora caves, carved in the rock by buddhists, hindus and jains. Depending on the religion, you can see different gods displayed as this Buddha in cave number 10.

Especially remarkable is the Kailash Temple carved in the rock from top to bottom.

Also the nature around the caves is very beautiful starring several water falls.

Swimming & bathing strictly prohibited!!!
On the return to Aurangabad, we visited the Bibi ka Maqbara (or Mini Taj) that was built by a son for his mother.

The final stop brought us to Panchikka - a water reservoir and food mill that still could work today. Close by is a shrine for a muslim of Aurangzeb's court.
