We left Guanajuato in the morning and went to an innovation and entertainment parc.

At lunch time we had the chance to visit either the Volkswagen engine factory or logistic center for shoes.
The latter also determined the rest of our day as we went to Mulza - one of the biggest show outlets. Some of us bought 4 pairs or more, I did not find a single pair. It was just too much choice.

Our hotel tonight was very standard at the periphery of the city centre of Leon. As I saved shopping time I treated myself to 75 minutes massage in the nearby shopping centre.
Later the local AIESECers brought us to the plaza with a church where we enjoyed a sound and light show that colored the cathedral in different shades while we ate Tequila, strawberry or other ice-cream. From there we walked to an arch and a bit further.
While the Lonely Planet accepted the importance of León as industrial and transportation hub, it remained silent to cultural sights and dedicated less than a page mainly on how to get away.
The next morning, we drove south of León to Irapuato and had a talk on opportunities in the industrial park.
