Just 10 min from our flat was another skiing area that we tried out today: Hochkönig (high king) with the villages of Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach.
All the villages are connected by the King's tour - a combination of lifts and slopes.
After short black detour, we started on the King's Tour. Due to the warm weather and sun, the snow got bad very soon in some valleys.
For lunch, we met at the Karbachalm in Dienten where we had the dish of the day roast pork.
After lunch we headed back to Maria Alm and finished the day with one of the ski routes - bringing us to ungroomed territory.
This was the skiing day with the most elevation covered in the last years.

King's Throne on Aberg
The tour was nice but also meant a lot of plain narrow forest tracks. Sometimes we also had to go up a little bit. No problem for skiers, but snowboarders had to walk. Victor and me took off several times to try out some black runs in between.
