AIESEC Alumni Rhine Cruise

Last weekend, I went to Koblenz for the AIESEC Alumni Rhine Cruise. On Friday evening, some of us Alumni already met in a Hotel Merkelbach at the river bank. Some old AIESECers and one from the current German Committee held speeches. Later I drove to Wiesbaden to visit Falk and Kirsten, unfortunately she already left for her work assignment in Ghana.

Late morning, we left Wiesbaden and parked my car in Bacharach - the end of the tour and then hurried on to Koblenz where we just arrived in time to board the AIESEC ship:-). There we met a lot of people we know from our active time in AIESEC. The next hours we chatted away passing by the lovely scenery of the Rhine and a lot of castles.

Late afternoon - after lunch, on board entertainment (Miss Rhine Cruise Competition, AIESEC dances, ....) and sunburns we arrived in Bacharach - our destination. We walked up the stairs to our lovely castle for the night (see pic below) where we did a big BBQ when finally the rain hit us. Despite this little misfortune we had a great time and doing some more AIESEC dances. The next day I felt some muscles pain that I have not felt in some time.

Sunday morning brought us back the sun and it was a great day if we not had to leave. Around noon we all said goodbye. Steffi and me went together to Nuremberg and then I continued alone.
