AIESEC Alumni International Congress in Hurghada, Egypt

2018’s AIESEC Alumni International Congress took place in Hurghada, Egypt. Definitely in the wrong time of year as it was baking hot. I felt already burned after 5 min in the pool at 8 o’clock in the morning.

The arrival day was also my birthday and that’s why in the evening I escaped with some friends our hotel (which was crowded and lived up to the rating score and comments) in Makadi Bay and went to Hurghada City - half an hour drive. There we went to the Caribbean Bar, got a table at the Res Sea and celebrated Karina’s and my birthday.

The next days, we had legislative meeting, elections and discussing all kind of things. Several alumni gave talks on cultural intelligence, fear and personal development stories.

One evening, we enjoyed Egyptian night with mint tea, shisha and local music and dances.

In the morning, I made use of the pool or theRed Sea - and failed again at snorkeling - doesn't seem to be my sport.

On Monday, the conference ended and we did the usual last picture on the carpet.
