Winter, skiing and a trip to Leipzig

End of January, Victor and I returned to Bormio, Livigno, Isolaccia/ San Colombiano and Santa Caterina Valfurva for our skiing holiday. We had great snow, slopes nearly to ourselves and covered 100 km per day.

Mid February, Viola - an exchange student from the US - and I went to my hometown Leipzig and I showed her the city center. We strolled through the passages, listened to music in St Thomas church and had dinner at my aunt’s place.

Beginning of March, Victor and I joined the WinterCo on the Reiteralm - a week of skiing with alumni and friends. We had great sunny days, good snow and great food on and off the slopes.

Travels are back - 2021 - Part II

In November, I attended finally the first in-person event of AIESEC Alumni after it was postponed several times. I travelled to Mexico and spent several days with AIESEC friends at the Riviera Maya.

At the end, Heidi and I headed to Cozumel where I learned diving. After a week on the island, good food and a lot of fish under water, we parted ways in Cancun.

I flew to Mexico City to visit another old friend. We relaxed, visited the Cathedral of the Virgen de Guadeloupe and a Frida Kahlo exposition.

Travels are back - 2021 - Part I

Corona made traveling impossible for over a year and then I was so fixed on the experiences that writing my travel blog took a back seat. Let me try to catch you up on my adventures since August 2021.

It started with a trip to my grandma‘s in Eisenach, Thuringia. It was good to meet again after such a long time.

Right after this, Victor and I spent a couple of days in the Malta valley in Carinthia, Austria. We drove along several high alpine roads, visited the marmots, tried archery and challenged each other clicking the best pictures at the Alpine Garden.

From Malta valley to Malta - the county. At the end of August, I boarded my first flight post-COVID to Valletta and kept the next days exploring the capital and the islands history. After weekend, I got myself a car and drove the next week always on the left side.
