Dachauer Volksfest

As much summer as we are about to get is here and so it's time for the local festivals all over Bavaria and Germany that will be culminating in the Oktoberfest next month.

Last Saturday, I visited the Dachauer Volksfest with my mom, uncle and aunt. As I sold my last Dirndl (local dress), I used the occasion and bought a new one.

At the beginning, we strolled over the fairground to get a good overview on the merry-go-rounds, lottery booths and food stalls.

In the tent, we got typical food and drinks. Prices are so much better here. Short after we seated ourselves the music started playing. The longer we stayed, the more we moved:-).

 Maybe next year, I will celebrate my b-day a bit late, but with a real good party:-).
