Review: Hotel Lyabi House

The next two nights we spent at the Lyabi House.

General apperance
The entrance from the little side street is not very interesting, but you enter in a nice lobby that gives way to two courtyards that are designed in old-fashioned oriental style. Blessed with historic elegance the 19th century hall is being used as a dinning room.

Location
Lyabi House hotel is located in the middle of the old part of Bukhara. Just a minute walk from the Lyabi Hauz.

Rooms
The rooms are situated around both courtyards on two floors. My one was in between both courtyards on the first floor looking out on the summer aivan. The furniture was quite new, the bed was too soft and I thought more old-fashioned furniture would suit the ambiance better.

The bathroom was equipped with a bathtub that was already quite old, but everything was nicely clean.

Breakfast
Breakfast served in the decorated 19th century hall and we sat outside on the summer aivan. We had pancake, liquid jam, other kinds of eggs and much more.

Other
There was no wifi or internet here, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. The reception also did money exchange and the laundry service worked well.
