Pentecost in Leipzig: a wedding, Wave Gothic and running

This weekend, I came back to Leipzig for the wedding of Steffen and Becki. She was dressed in a lovely white dress and he wore a suit (what else).

As Steffen was quite some time in AIESEC and Becki supported him, we tested their knowledge and skills a bit.

After an awesome dinner we rocked the dancefloor and it was great to meet so many old friends.

On Sunday, I met Peter - an old friend who did a traineeship in Leipzig some years ago and who took the pictures below. We ate in a cafe at the market square and then wandered a bit through the city centre.

At the same weekend, it was also the Black clothed people's festival known as the Wave Gothic Meeting which featured as usual a range of interesting people:
- Baroque style
- SM style
- Black clothes

Also they were showing off all kinds of tattoos, independent hairstyles and accessoires.

Living in friend's flat in Markkleeberg, I took the chance and went twice running: once on the river Pleiße and on Sunday in the Auwald (green forest). Both times, I succeeded in doing 6.1 km - the distance for the business run in July.
